How does it work?
When and where we can meet, how long sessions are, and what to expect from the first one.
Sessions can be daytime or evening on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
I work in a private counselling room in the garden of my home, accessed at the side of my house. There is pay parking on the road outside or free parking a short walk away. I am five minutes from Canterbury East station and ten minutes from the bus station.
I also work on Zoom, FaceTime and WhatsApp (video).
If outdoor therapy is something that appeals to you, we can also work as we walk along some of the footpaths of Canterbury.
Sessions are 60 minutes, whether face to face, online or walk and talk. I charge £50 per session, payable by bank transfer prior to the session.
The first session is about getting to know each other, seeing if I am the right counsellor for you, discussing our working agreement and getting a few details from you before we start. Prior to the session I will send you a new-client form to complete and return.
The counselling room
A private room in my garden, accessed at the side of the house, so you won’t need to come through my home.
Getting in touch doesn’t commit you to anything. The first session is about getting to know each other and seeing if I’m the right counsellor for you.
